If van is really a ghost it makes sense why earn is on his grind as a manager because he has to step up and take care of their daughter
How tf did u come to this conclusion lol
it didn't go or lead up to anything. It was terrible
i love the show, but this season overall has been ass
Do you understand how stories work? Implications, themes?
The more I think about it, the more I like this episode
It had a lot of heart. And it spoke on how welcoming and nurturing black cultures can be, while the whole time the white parents were talking down about Slyvia and her whole culture even after she was dead
Also showed how children arent born prejudice. And luckily the kid was raised to respect those cultures instead of being like the parents and being ignorant
The ending is haunting
bro i love this show 😭
I think the episode works as a metaphor for America as a whole. By and large children in America are being raised by and into black culture. Their favorite songs are from black culture, their favorite shows and movies are from black culture, their favorite foods are from black culture, they’re vocabulary is coming from black culture.
The inclusion of the poster child of this in Chet Hanks only cements it
These standalone episodes have been fire

That said it’s prob the weakest this season
Lil boy said “Amen

bro was watching proud family eating benedicts w/ curry what a goat 😭
really liked this episode
agree with a lot of the subtext people have mentioned and I also saw it as a commentary on how appealing foreign cultures are to white children who have especially generic cultureless Starbucks parents. like there's a whole generation of those kids being impacted by a pop culture that's created by black people
also loved that line that was like "this is how we do sad" yet the white couple being so shocked at its expression
can understand people want to see the main cast, but these random episodes have a lot of layers

Chet hanks
That said it’s prob the weakest this season
Nah fr this episode just kinda fell flat despite the message
i loved champagne papi
Gotcha. Thats usually agreed to be the worst episode, and the only low point for season 2.
Dope you like it though
When is Clark County going to drop another classic on us?
I still haven't recovered from Yoohoo
One of the funniest episodes they've ever done. Chet hanks as the glimpse of the future kid will be on all the little "Atlanta Highlights" videos in a couple years
Can’t compare. Felt like a short film. I will say S2 was Sopranos level, not this.
Are y’all joking or serious how the hell can you compare Atlanta and Sopranos?
