A lot of them themes and topics feel a little more on the nose compared to the past 2 seasons to me
Feel like the things it’s poking fun at are less subtle than before so it’s not hitting the same
with the exception of the Van/Earn stuff, I could see the entire plot of this episode coming. Al getting screwed over was hella obvious. same thing with Darius. I’m starting to understand the criticism that this season is meant for white people bc the s*** they’re exploring isn’t all that shocking to most black people imo
I’m still liking the season and appreciating what they’re trying to do. but yeah, it’s too heavy-handed for me and not hitting as well as seasons 1 and 2. it feels like the show is prioritizing theme over character. and maybe it always did that but idk, it felt a lot more balanced to me in previous seasons
So they still haven't shown any promo for the next episode ?
I wonder if there is a reason why they haven't shown what episode 7 is about
I think people on reddit said they saw the ep 7 promo and it looked like 'American Horror Story'ish? I'm assuming it aired right after the episode on cable but I can't find it uploaded anywhere yet
Last episode felt very formulaic and structural. It was the first time I watched an episode of Atlanta feeling like I had a good idea on what was going to happen.
Let’s gooo they finally realizing they only have so many episodes to get the story done now so less filler funny episodes which is good and bad but I’m ready
Get what story done tho?
need Pan's Labyrinth sequel at this point
