I might be overreacting, but Beat It is his greatest song

That’s your opinion and personally I think It was diverse enough and his singing is way better here than on some HNDRXX songs

Surely HNDRXX will forever have a special place in his discography since it was our first glimpse into that R&B future bag and a huge experimental step in his career but music wise this album is definitely in the same weight class and improves on some flaws from the first one

I mean this not Future first time with R&B, he had Honest way back when. For me HNDRXX and this basically the same amount of songs, but while I was listening I was kinda like damn this kinda a lot of songs ...

I didn't feel that way with HNDRXX, it had more songs that kept me engaged as a listener. Here it kinda felt a few songs was just another day at the studio

Maybe they'll grow on me, but right now it's a lot less I'd add to a playlist from disc 1 here compared to what I did with HNDRXX

Nostalgia????? It was 7 years ago lmao. You guys use this cope every time people don’t like an artists new work. Cut it out. Metros r&b beats sound cheap

7 years is pretty much long enough to have nostalgia there’s people already reminiscing about pandemic era music what are you on about

None of the beats on this album sounds cheap or phoned in or whatever unless you expected Future to hop on some Sade or D’Angelo type beats and instrumentation

  • "we Still Don't Trust You" was decent, but the first album much better imo.

For the most part this albums more laid back / r&b driven. I think the writing, flows and melodies great but Future needs to work on his vocals. He struggles to hit some of the notes.

I enjoyed alot of the second disc (bonus tracks) which were more same energy of the first album.

Interesting seeing how many old leaks / sessions were repurposed for this album as well

Hndrxx had better production and didn’t even like that album that much. Bryson tiller new album had better production than this

    WSDTY > HNDRXX

I wouldn’t say that yet since that would be my recency bias speaking but I’m pretty satisfied with what we got today in comparison to a massive album like HNDRXX

    Say it again bro
If you take all of the good tracks from these past two albums, you could make a pretty good (not amazing) 10-11 song album

Metro is not good at r&b beats and future is phoning it in.

    These niggas ain’t hearing

I know top tier Pluto when I hear it

He doesn’t attack nothing on here like how he did on 7:12PM for example
