rap fans have this very low bar for what "experimentation" is because (despite the existence of works like hendrxx and save me) lot of these fans have certain expectations of a future that to them, anything can count as experimentation when you been giving people the same content and backdrop for the better half of a decade.

So when you hear a Pharrell attempting prime Mustard beat and future sounding like this some ad space for draft kings or las vegas casino, to that fan this is "experimentation whoa! Look at Future go, I've never heard this sound before!"
