artist head to heads are almost always stupid af and neither of these artists could make the music that the other does

but acting like future is only crude is silly. future is relatable for a lot of us. i feel more catharsis in future music than frank personally but frank is still talented

This just proves my point

All those lines you posted sound like assertions. Very straight to the point. I can point to hundreds of trap rappers who got lines just like that. The lines I posted from Frank contain double entendres, symbolism, distinct imagery, and even when hes making assertions he says it in such a poetic and expressive way. Frank is undoubtedly a more unique writer than Future. Not to say Future is bad, he has a lot of funny lines and fun quotables but it is what it is.

Blonde is a masterful record that only a truly one of a kind writer could come up with. Future will never in his life come close to that kind of record. His peak is the 7-8/10 records he normally comes up with. And I don't think I can ever relate to Future. Songs like Throw Away cement that for me because he's pouring his heart out but when you look deeper into it, you realize he's getting emotional because he lost a woman he cares for because he was cheating on her with others and she decided to stand up for herself and leave. Future is just a very toxic and bad human being (atleast what he portrays in his music) and I think due to that, I can enjoy the theatrics and entertainment value he provides but I will never truly relate to him because of that. Whereas Self Control is a universally relatable song expressed so poetically and emotionally that anyone can relate to it.
