Same thing the only difference is QM recorded them for Drake & Kanye did it for Jay Z in person
Kanye
1. Created the cadence for Jay Z to use
2. Gave Jay Z some lines + a formula to use
But it’s okay if you have a hard time accepting this
Its not the same thing at all but whatever we can agree to disagree lmao
Y’all gotta remember Drake stans don’t really like Hov.
Pre Scorpion era they were hating on him then when they found out he was on the album they pretended to f*** with him again
EXACTLY bro and also that little beef thing they had.

Suck my toes
It's easily his best album, other albums are either too immature or have too much filler, or lack personality (IYRTITL).
iyrtitl isn't one of the better ones either

Drake doesn't have anything that stacks up to Hov's top 4 or 5 albums tbh. Blueprint and Black Album are the albums he's been thriving to make his whole career, but both remain superior in terms of how cohesive, unified and well rounded they are. NWTS was his best shot, but it's still noticeably weaker.
Then you have Reasonable Doubt and 4:44 that are just out of Drake's ability, he doesn't have the pen and artistic vision to match those albums.
totally agree with this. Drake has classics but I dont think they are as renowned as HOV. however as far as greatness is concerned it gets tricky when you have to factor in his influence and impact. Drake's been on a 10 yr run and every rapper now has to have a mix or melodic songs and street songs in their records. I still have HOV as the GOAT but Drake is def top 10 and he's been in the game half the time as HOV
Hov
Nas
Wayne
Kendrick
Biggie
Doom
Black Thought
Earl
Lupe
Zaywop
Mos Def
No writers
Big L too

Maybe certain people who worship him, but to me without Jay Z there is no Drake. I may be a huge fan of Drake’s but I’m a fan of rap first and foremost so Jay Z will forever get love from me
