beat it 🚶🏻♂️ easy ahh game
this game rarely goes on sale but next one will do
Microsoft will save Activision game prices if anything
u inspired me to try this again for the 3rd time
I think this is it fr
You got this fam! When it clicks you will see how absolutely brilliant it is. It took awhile before it did and then I damn near breezed through most of it for one of the best games I have ever experienced
S*** clicked for me the other day. Was wild
Glad to see. It's some kind of Eureka moment when it does

I’m trying to remember when it clicked but it was shortly after the guy on the horse.
I actually fought all these people out of order and i faced the old lady early
i smacked her after two deaths.
Genichironwas tough but again maybe 8 tries.
There’s some weird looking creature that keeps doing repetitive swings and that s***nreally took me to the next level. So fun.
Corrupted monk boss is a complete vibe btw

Genichiro was so much fun tho. The sword clashing is f***ing perfect. Wish he had 12 health bars

Genichiro was the wall for me. I had a really tough time with him and pretty much breezed through the rest except for a couple bosses
The pig boss was actually difficult for me at first too lmao
I’m just getting through some quest line where they keep telling me to find the mortal blade to get the lord to bleed. I was on a roll last night but fell asleep and went to the gym instead

Yeah especially because he’s a mixed back. His movements are spread out and not just generic sword swinging. Plus the fact that he punishes you when you try to heal, and the fact that his posture bar recovers so quickly.
Feel like it really forces you to get good because it’s encouraging you to be extremely aggressive, while still being aware of everything he does.
Really wish I was a shinobi now

I have 8 gourds on me now with like 5 full prayer beads achieved. some npc before corrupted monk was giving me an issue but I was kinda faded so w/e. I’m just kinda wondering where I’m supposed to go right now instead
I just discovered the ability to dive in the water too

Who am I supposed to give sake to?
Who am I supposed to give sake to?
F*** dude Its been years so I can't remember.
Google would be your friend here
Who am I supposed to give sake to?
Sake isn’t important to any quest or storylines but they give you cool background information. You can give them to Emma, Isshin, and the sculptor for a little bit of dialogue.
Who am I supposed to give sake to?
it just unlocks more dialogue

Yeh I did it to sculptor. On shinobi owl rn. Beat my ass but I only tried twice before snoozin

owl less punishing than genichiro imo bc its only 2 phases

Imma use the lil double heavy attack as my combat art and come back with something that spits later today

oh ya I didnt even really use combat arts for that one ngl, just got good with parrying his pattern
but ya u could potentially hit the ichimonji double on him if u get behind him when he throws the little heal cancel grenade
I’ve played the game on xbox and ps5 but i’d always get stuck at either owl or headless ape and drop it, but in the last couple days i’ve been doing another playthrough and it finally fully clicked. Just got to Isshin, still getting my ass beat but man what a special game I can’t wait to do NG+
Started this yesterday and dumped a lot of time into it. Definitely a steep learning curve but I think I am starting to get a hang of it
Having to manually pickup gold is bad design
Just beat the game 2 days ago. An absolutely amazing game and it may be my favourite Souls game. Definitely the hardest as well imo
I don’t really think this is a souls game. It has some design similarities but I think it’s closer to a character action game.

yea basically the similarities stop at bonfires.
You can't farm to level up.
Your stuff gets lost completely if you die unless you get Divine
Intervention or whatever.
Combat is different.
No stamina. Which is where I think most souls vets struggle because they don't use that to their advantage. Sekiro can RUN.
And dodging is not the optimal way to play. Still useful in situations but the enemies punish you way more for dodging.
