Really enjoyed this as a huge fan of everything Tim Robinson does. Was worried that taking an ITYSL sketch and stretching it into a 90 minute movie would really be overdoing it but that wasn’t the case for me. Theater was packed with dudes that were loving it. Slotting it right into the low end of A-tier for 2025

Yeah, I have and it’s A-tier right now. We’ll see if it holds up on a second viewing once it releases. Reactions can tend to get a little inflated based on the excitement of seeing something early so we’ll see.

But it was literally Top Gun: Maverick-lite. It’s inferior because race cars are just not as cool as fighter jets; Brad Pitt just isn’t as charismatic as Tom Cruise, and Damson Idris isn’t as charismatic as Miles Teller or Glenn Powell. But Maverick is S-tier so even being the “lite” version of that film gets you A-tier.

Hardest I've laughed in a theatre in a long time. It's so quotable that I wouldn't be surprised if this was Anchorman/Step Brothers for a new generation of kids.
