• Logic's been on a run since he dropped No Pressure. I get that ktt will always dislike him and that's cool but I personally think he's so much better now after ditching Def Jam. His latest album ULTRA 85 is insane, might just be one of the best things he's ever dropped.

• Carti is low-key just dropping duds at this point and doesn't know where to take his career.

• People complain about how bad rap has gotten but don't care about searching for s*** they like (and yes I get how hard it can be)

• Drake

• Kendrick is going to absolutely bring out Wayne during the super bowl and people got no reason to be pissed about how he's not headlining it.

• Country music really isn't bad at all. It's just super formulaic.

• Kanye needs to go back to his era of Gospel and Sunday Service if he wants to drop something groundbreaking.

• Female rap is overhated.

• Uzi is washed up he needs to move and grow with his fan base. He keeps dropping stuff trying to recreate his 2016 stuff and it's not hitting because his fan base is no longer 17.

• Born Sinner is J Cole's best work shout out @Aquilla

• Rap and rock and roll mixes like Aerosmith & Run DMC or Beastie Boys have to make a comeback. S*** is hard.

• Dej Loaf is extremely underrated.

• Big Sean has never been corny. People just don't like punchline rap because they are too stupid to understand it.

• Yung Lean, Lil B, Chief Keef, Riff Raff, Soulja Boy basically founded your favorite rapper. Stop writing them off as a joke or meme because they aren't traditional rappers. They pushed the boundaries to the extreme and perfected it.

Putting them on a pedestal for the influence they’ve had in the genre isn’t good. The actual hot take is people need to stop acting like they’re groundbreaking boundary pushing artists that deserve legendary status for their influence

Their influence is why the genre is where it is rn

-Aesthetics over actual talent and
music

-Don’t have to actually be good at rapping

-lyrics don’t matter

All major things killing the genre they influenced
