I don’t think u know much about the case if u think “he’s beyond cook” case is super beatable and even more winnable on an appeal

this logic suggest if 69 never testified he'd be looked at the same way as everyone is currently looking at gunna

1. Those plea deals can’t be used as evidence during trial (u seemed to ignore that part)

2. Gunna n Slimelife plea deals didn’t identify thug as a member or leader of the gang because they weren’t even accused of any violent crimes.

3. The only 2 that took Alford pleas can literally legally say “I maintain my innocence I just didn’t want to go to trial”

No. 69 agreed and admitted to agreeing to be a fully cooperating witness for the federal government. His deal didn’t include a sentence because it was based on how much his testifying helped the government.

Gunna did not agree to be a fully cooperating witness for the state. His deal says any party can call him up. Prosecutors wouldn’t let someone who’s going to fully cooperate and be a star witness free on the streets before they testify with no witness protection. (They currently have a real rat on the case in witness protection and have already subpoena’d him to be called up)

Oh brother. Alford pleas are an ADMISSION OF GUILT while maintaining innocence. They made the nigga say out loud he has “personal knowledge that members or associates of YSL have committed crimes and in furtherance of the gang.”

You think they made him say that for fun and games? It's basically "admit YSL is a criminal gang or you'll be sitting next to Thugger". Really simple.

He didn’t SAY anything They made him AGREE to those statements which makes a major difference in the court.

He had to agree to the statements because those were the charges that he plead guilty to. That’s just how it works. Even people who plead guilty and still got 20 years had to go say “yes ma’am” to the charges they were charged with.

Y’all just think so surface level instead of realizing the state just didn’t want Gunna and his million dollar legal team anywhere near this trial. Once again they currently have real rats for the case who are in witness protection. They aren’t letting snitches roam the streets freely with the chance of being killed. Gunnas case is closed and they don’t want him involved in the trial because it won’t help them. He didn’t even know YSL the time the murder that’s the focal point of this case happened.
