    Lyrics are subjective

    You’ve got Nickelodeon Slime

    The toy “slime”

NORE is the proud founder of the word in hip hop

    Vado created Slime Flu

Lil Wayne was referencing Slime in his lyrics from 2012-2014 and he is from New Orleans

    This is flimsy lol

Bro what thats a weak ass argument lol.

If they find any instance of slime being referred to as gang then the slime in his lyrics that go along with violence will be considered gang activity due to the gang have the word slime. Has nothing to do with other Rappers, they would take into account what "slime" means to the individual & the context. Not broadly across the board.

Also theyre not stupid lol slang & code words get broken down in cases all the time.

Even without the term slime in his lyrics, they will still his lyrics to prove violence & aggression that potentially seeped into the real world.

Words have meaning, especially in the court room. And this goes beyond the singular term "slime".

If they are seen as a gang they will be treated as a terrorist ("urban" gangs have been officially declared terrorist organizations in the last 2 or so years) & terrorists get no leniency & less rights lol.

They obviously have more than just lyrics. Lyrics are supplemental, not the main argument/accusation. Doesnt matter if the lyric part is valid or not.

If YSL is a gang enterprise and music is their “front” why isn’t 300/Atlantic being investigated for funding the operation?

Bruh this is exactly what i was saying.. if Gunna did gang propaganda then 300 funded it

DA seeing this as a career opportunity and reactionaries smell a new opportunity to s*** on black culture it's f***ed up

That was a fed case. Fulton county Georgia don’t have the resources or money to try and take down a whole record label.

Especially when 85% of their evidence is social media posts

    SIGH

Yeah always felt like birdman putting a hit out a hit on wayne or soemthin and thug was just mentioned with it

Wayne is cool with Birman again too. They filmed a music video together recently

How so if they been building this case for almost a decade?

Even if that is the case, unfortunately they will get the resources needed because to take down YSL and their top dog who is a f***ing superstar this is a huge W for "Justice"

Going through the indictment and the lack of actual evidence is astounding

I’m not sure how any of this stands, if Thug’s attorney is as good as the money he’s being paid, I seriously doubt he does significant time

The state is trying to create a narrative that Jeffrey Lamar Williams aka Young Thug is the equivalent of “Don Corelone” . The head of a criminal enterprise that has been responsible for half the crime in Atlanta since 2015.

With 90% of what they consider to be evidence social media posts and the other 10% rap lyrics

The 50 bodies are tied to the gang but the gang is the music group?

    Weak

i think the most egregious example in the indictment is that they used “Really Be Slime” lyrics against Thug when he’s not even in the song

    Yea, that's ridiculous

    It’s astounding

The underlying issue is the moron who shot the cop six times

That seems to be the determining factor in why the state decided to stop watching and start acting
