Idk but I've been writing concert tickets that are "for" something off since I was 18. And it's probably been hundreds at this point. Bands like phish who donate a portion of every ticket to their charity org I write off every single one.
IRS coming for your ass soon enough

IRS don't even look at your returns if your total reported income is under $250k and you paid the right amount of federal taxes on it

you’ve given me so much free game today trey... bless your heart the realest on KTT
Some of these front row tickets are at 4000 bucks now
Nobody will buy those and the KTT boys will sneak down there with their $50 tickets for the 300s
Do I pull the trigger or wait and get cheaper?
Wait. There are almost 4000 tickets on StubHub and almost every single section of the stadium still has tickets for sale on TM.

Bet. Was aiming for a lower bowl seat not vip rows.
Mf's in this thread in a year when the IRS sends them an audit notice for trying to claim $4000 for "Drake & Kanye West concert tickets"

Lmao hey man it says "benefit concert" on the tickets, you as a taxpayer aren't responsible for defining that as a deduction because the IRS hasn't yet. All clear in my book tbh.
Friendly reminder to y'all since my comment about writing the tickets off has gained traction:
Religious organizations and churches in the USA do not pay taxes. Period. Kanye establishing his own religious organization via sunday service, donda, etc., is just another tax loophole for him to take a full paycheck on everything he does. I have no idea what's really going on behind the scenes but if he wanted to he could legally channel all the profits from his streaming revenue and live performances through his religious organization and pay zero tax. Literally none at all.
Nothing personal, just business I suppose
Selling 1 ticket in section 210B for face value (below face value possible for the KTT fam). PM me if interested - need to get this off me asap!
This really should have been a lot cheaper lmao
Weird having a concert for prison reform and only catering to people who can afford $200 + tickets

As long as the proceeds go to something good, he should finesse as many ppl as possible

Production costs. Although it's a charity show Drake's team is probably still getting a big check. Mike probably getting paid for doing live mixes. Also assuming there will be a choir of some sort and a custom stage design.
That said it's been made clear nobody is interested in paying $275 to sit in the back of a football stadium for this show so pricing will be coming down for sure.
Selling a ticket in Sec 216, Row 9 (for below retail). hmu
got some pocket lint, a shoe lace, and a crumpled receipt from dollar tree

sounds tempting
you can write your ticket off on your taxes because this is technically a "benefit" show
Hate to be the one that says it, but this isn’t true. Majority of people don’t get audited by the IRS so you can put whatever you want on your taxes, but if you did get audited, this would be flagged.
Honestly, I pray that everyone of you who goes to this show gets a great performance from Ye and Drake:D And a long setlist with Hov as a special guest.

More free game. Starting a Church is the new side hustle

The event is produced by "Donda concerts" or whatever it's called. Ye has established the church and the school under the same umbrella, so any payment to those organizations qualifies as a deduction. Also donations to civil defense organizations qualify for deduction and the proceeds of this event will go to supporting such organizations.
