I'm not mad at Drake for doing what most do when they're special guest at a show and they've got an album in rotation and are on cycle. That makes sense. Wasn't expected obviously, but that makes sense.

That being said, It's really hard to follow up some of the biggest songs in Hip-Hop history like Gold Digger and Jesus Walks with Girls want Girls and IMY2. Even if those songs are great, they're like two months old

Ye played some of the greatest songs in hip hop history and the boy followed up with a song with lyrics like “said you was a lesbian? Girl me too!” and a remix to a Right Said Fred song and people in here actually defending his setlist. Love is blind indeed. The stans will stan.

I don’t get that argument. So what if it isn’t his show? Is a guest not suppose to try hard just because it isn’t their show? That doesn’t sound like a very good guest.

I wasn’t expecting him to do too many songs either but I at least expected the ones he was going to do we’re going to be good. He ended up doing a good amount of songs too like over 10. Also thought him and Ye were going to coordinate better and the stage would be more performative.

The special guest argument is a cope. Especially knowing when Drake brings Ye out like at OVO Fest, Kanye performs a legendary set similar to the one he performed yday. Drake probably was excited to perform his new songs but I agree they could have better coordination.
