I don’t want to get carried away but if bro follows up
Piñata, Bandana, and Alfredo with something of comparable quality we gotta have a different convo surrounding bro.
i will never gonna get tired to remind that Shadow of a Doubt deserves to be mentioned too. All around that project was his best crossover attemnt at mainstream
Can you name some good hip hop beats of his I think his beat making style is pretty bland and uninteresting outside of his own music kinda
another one

the conversation should've happened after Alfredo.
Piñata and Alfredo are two classic albums. That's me using that word the way it should be used, like Purple Tape level greatness.
most artists don't even have one classic, let alone 2 like Freddie does. everything else at this point could be B.S. and he wouldn't lose his status. nothing to prove

My only pushback would be that I think it’s a little easier to have a classic album with one producer and the albums you mention have that.
I think doing a project like this shows his versatility a little better and it expands the convo.
But I’m not mad at this take he def in the upper echelon of quality already.

plenty of well regarded "classic" albums that have only one producer, or close to only one producer. if anything I see having one producer as not a crutch but essential to an album being classic
see: Mobb Deep and Wu Tang albums circa 1993-1996
Dont fckn care about Y "fell off G. We got Kane & Rome Streetz & Bold and Craven the 30th
Nah bro that YG gonna be heat, the singles are great and I can’t wait for the Nas track

Gibbs was always top 2 in the game to me behind Kendrick. Prolly since 2013. He had that versatility even back then
Haven't heard Dark Hearted yet. Might just save it for the album
Bro this s*** so insane.
This s***’s about to go dumb hard.
dark hearted is fire
James Blake killed that beat
Sounds like some shadow of a doubt type s***
