A lot of time it is, but Freddie (the album) proved that he can make an awesome album with modern production.

The thing that probably worries most people or at least me is that this album is going to be a disjointed mesh of all the sounds he usually dedicates entire albums to, not to mention that the songs he’s released leading up to this just aren’t that good.
