he still has a point though. large professor enlisted a team of a-list producers for the making of illmatic.
there was some friendly competition between large and premo on who could make the best beat for Nas and he decided to use a few of each for the album

as far as we know, Freddie might not just have one beat from each producer on this album either

I think after this drops, he’s gonna drop an rnb alhum and then Montana and then he’s retiring. On the latest joe Rogen he said he doesn’t want to rap anymore but Montana is already finished. Said he wants to do a podcast. So I think these might be the last 3 albums from him
