SINGHive been a fan of freddie since baby face but lets be real. he was hanging around jeezy and got no transaction. once he embraced the indie sound he became a thing.

Tons of people, including me, been bumping him since the mixtape-era when he dropped “The Miseducation of Freddie Gibbs” and “Midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik”
He dropped a ton of tapes before that but those are the 2 that really put him on the map.
He was wellllll on the map before Madlib and The Alchemist projects and well before he started working with Jeezy
He didn’t even need Jeezy, they dropped a couple dope songs together but that’s about it.
Pretty sure the only tapes he dropped on CTE was the tape produced by Statik Selektah… Lord Giveth, Lord Taketh Away and Cold Day In Hell

Well bennys shooting was in nov 2020. The more recent s*** was gibbs getting jumped by bennys crew in may of this year. Benny reignited it by posting a pic with gibbs girls chain. Gibbs just bringing up the old shooting again
