A car or shoe obviously and hes saying he knows it better than people aka hes not good with people because he doesnt trust them to begin with thus an object, car or shoe, fills that gap and why hes even willing to get the car or shoe customized which is very expensive and time consuming - handmade. Cant break the law with people because theyre not trust worthy.

If he gets his money right he wont need for her, & he wont need for potentially killing & probably robbing. Which falls back into cant trust people, cant trust the women - cant break the law with them, cant do the killing (robbing) with them because theyre not trustful.
But once his money is right aka when hes not broke he wont have to worry about any of this anymore.
