Gorillaz have 8 albums and that wouldn’t be a legendary performance
People just think “ oooo content “
Frank doesn’t have enough of a catalog for a true classic Coachella performance anyway
@edumist another stupid ass post peep it

I love Frank, but based off hits Abel clears a versus
People itt say “Frank doesn’t have the hits or catalog for a classic performance” but don’t realize he has the MUSIC for a classic performance

It’s not people lol it’s one poster
4 projects just isn’t that many, compared to the other superstars who had big Coachellas like Bey and Ye
Kanye only had 5 albums out in 2011, was the Coachella performance not legendary?
I think all we’re getting this weekend is a great live set and I’m okay with that considering how rare his performances are

I won’t be disappointed if we get a great set .
I See two
Oh I’m probably blocking the other one already my fault. I just don’t need to see those thoughts lol
It cant be that subjective. Its about hits and overall influence/impact around the time they were released
…that’s roughly the same thing as nostalgia and emotions attached to the hits my guy
the impact of a song (at the barest of minimums) and/or music is how it affects that person in terms of how they feel, how much they heard it, how prevalent it was etc. naturally feelings are gonna be associated with the songs, influence otoh is really only relevant for terms of sound and the actual music industry, so idek why you would factor that in tbh
otherwise, we could just crunch hits solely by how long they stayed on a hot 100 + which ones were number ones and which ones weren’t
