just peoples general expectations for the headliners and lineup as a whole
but if frank is there that means maybe, possibly, a chance for some new material perhaps so

I’m fully expecting him to not perform at Coachella regardless of if he’s on the lineup or not.

Does anyone have a link to the long form live performance videos from the Blonde tour he did?
not sure where you got that he didn’t want to release singles from because he actually said the opposite. he wanted to release singles because it was a free form medium and mentioned wanting to do something “different” with album releases, which in my mind confirms that he planned to release each silhouette as a song so that an album / playlist could be compiled.
dear april and cayendo also have the silhouettes on their acoustic released on streaming which is further confirmation.
I’ll try to find the quote when I get a chance but he was discussing expectations and how releasing singles is practically the artist setting themselves up.
What you’re speaking about his the “half-a-song-format” concept he spoke about in the NYT interview which basically conceptualized Blonded Radio.
I can totally be wrong, who knows we’re just shooting. However, fans are so conditioned to think that promo + single always has to equal an album which is absurd especially when it comes to an artist as untraditional as Frank.
