His performance was good musically, brilliant at times, but people who were there have the right to be to some degree upset, being that he was an hour late for a festival set, and it got cut short due to curfew. Not to mention an out of place DJ set in the middle. Also, all we have is s***ty quality recordings from people’s phones. His set was supposed to be streamed, so we were robbed of high quality audio of the good parts. Dismissing people’s valid critiques as unrealistic expectations is delusional.

We can give him props for the good parts of the set, but also come to the conclusion that overall it was a disorganized mess.

Oh yeah no denying any of those aspects, especially the lateness and length of the set. I feel like he's getting a lot of complaints for his song choice and overall approach to the performance. To that I say, does he really owe anyone anything in that regard? He's doing him and he's curated this set list and experience for a reason. I hear you tho, can't overlook all the glaring issues that would definitely piss me off if I paid for a ticket

Yeah, people complaining about the actual music are out of line. They’re his songs so he can choose to play them any way he wants. I actually appreciate that he reworked them.
