At the end of this one "at your best" recording when the track is waning and there's cute little piano flutters and guitar strums there's this girl that goes "I'm never gonna get over that, ever" and it sounds so natural and almost scripted. Reminds me of Lauren talking on End.

god
if the original show happens this week it will finally put all weekend 1 vs weekend 2 arguments to rest.
@Bow_And_Arrow
john summit why are you nervous? no one listens to ur s*** anyway
We are so f***ing back we never left
I'm probably early but

if it happens week 2 they better stream it for all the mfs who couldn’t see that s*** week 1
That Morgan chick is getting brand deals and said she just did an interview with pitchfork haha you love to see it!
frank fr the goat puttin people on
to each his own dude, I was there all weekend and the screens were a lot more captivating than the stage anyway for all the sets. if you were up close maybe you’d feel different, I was generally not pushing up on barricades
but he did perform live, everyone saw it, that is what was being put on the screen. the appeal of a spec on a man appearing on the stage is not worth whining over. that’s just me tho 🤷🏻♂️
There’s a big difference between the screens allowing people farther back to get a better view of what’s happening on stage vs. the screens being the only way anyone in the crowd can see the artist because he’s being shielded by a bunch of people walking
I’m in awe of the technicalities behind the visuals. I really hope we get a breakdown of it the same way Spike did after the 2017 run.
The dimensions of the screen coupled with just how stunningly cinematic the camera made everything look was gorgeous. It made the Panorama set look amateur.

Wish I coulda seen them in person

I agree. That was the biggest reason I was bummed about no official livestream. One of the things that shocked me about the 2017 show that no cell phone vids really did justice before seeing in person was how the show felt like an actual indie film with production value
Unfortunately seeing this through the lens of low quality TikTok streams made it hard to appreciate the visuals and made the other flaws of the performance that more glaring. I'm sure this show was probably somewhat better in person. Only a little bit tho lol

i was rly conflicted abt the criticism of the set design where ppl were upset that they couldn’t “physically” see some of the performance bc from the heart it makes sense but on replays viewing the visuals on that panoramic screen was way more of a spectacle especially on livestream feeds
why would you change up this song to play block chords on the acoustic like that. it doesnt sound good when buskers do it on the street and it doesnt sound good here
Bougie ass
The criticism of not being able to see Frank in person confuses me because with a crowd of that size, can you ever really see the artist that well without the screen if you're not near the front?
