I wish weeknd had frank level music cause that man loves his fans and feeds them all the time
wym theyāre both ass
I am really overwhelm at how good his voice is live.
I wished the showed had been on time so the whole vision could have been compleded, but even if he had played the full show I still feel that allot of people would had been upset because of the experimenting and intimate feel, instead of the big festival show.
But man I really loved the show

I honestly donāt think the Coachella headlining spot is the place to experiment either.
I think the fans and the organisers put you in that position because they need you to deliver the best s*** possible.
Sunday night was not the place to disappear for ten minutes while some random dj plays Ice Spice remixes and your security guard gets 90 seconds to twerk into the camera.
Frank knows that as well.
Even if the ice rink set up still happened, she would still have had a DJ set in the middle of all of it
Yeah but the issue is he was a hour late so the dj set took up a way larger percentage of the show than planned. He knew he was late it should of been scraped.

If they want weird they can go to Burning Man.
Coachellaās there for the blockbusters.

I can see where you come from that the headlighting spot is not the place to experiment, but that is kinda why I think it's important that Frank did it.
Almost no artist would take that chance and that is why the mainstream gets stale, so experimenting/disruption, in my opinion, is needed.

I donāt necessarily mind experimenting and disruption but the thing is when you take that risk it has, HAS, to be good.
And this really wasnāt.
He was basically throwing random s*** at the wall and hoping something would stick in front of 150k people.
Itās hilarious that reading the reviews or fan reactions would lead you to believe that this was some Amy Winehouse 2007 performance where he was incoherent and drunk. Then you go and see a video and heās just effortlessly and angelically singing At Your Best.

Then youāre like okay why are people pissed? and you see him lip syncing Nights without a mic like a C grade rapper, mhm makes sense.
Scroll again and itās some insane synth rework of White Ferrari. Why would anyone be upset at this..

Oh wait, thereās a random DJ set, huh?! A punk rendition of Wiseman - a decade old Tumblr loosie? Every song a crowd would ever want to sing along has been reinvented making it impossible to join and connect?
Yeah this set is one for the books, whether you liked it or thought it was pretentious and rude, It was absolutely bizarre but intentional. Then you factor in the ice rink, BMWs, Eric Roth, live band and the anticipation of 6 years and you really have one of the most mysterious (ironic) and disjointed hour of a live performance in recent memory.
Itās funny that before he got on stage everyone was hoping for new music but by the end they just wished he sang the songs they love.

I don't think you're the arbitrator of Coachella, Frank had an hour and a bit to do whatever he wanted to have attached to his name, he shouldn't have had it go on an hour late that's on him

You can't take a risk if failure is not an option, because then you are still playing it safe.
Ngl everytime im like āyou know what did wasnt that badā
I immediately remember that he was the Headline act

Like the performance itself was pretty good
But not as a headlining show
Thats more of Coachellas problem though

He headlined Coachella and sang 10 songs⦠stop excusing this poor performance.
Canāt believe they got Justin Bieber to post some BS PR for the dude
Everything he said was 100% correct

How did you read that and chalk it up to me excusing it?

Youāre acting like my opinion is some stark minority.
Pretty clear what he did wasnāt what organisers wanted and wasnāt what thousands of people paid their hard earning money.
Take your cape off.

Heās def hoping he gets a feature out of it.
