They really think we're idiots
This is my issue with artists the general public crowns as "geniuses." They'll tolerate bullshit behavior from them they won't tolerate from anyone else. This isn't the first time Frank is frustrating his fanbase but see how he had to put on a total s*** show on a massive stage for people to finally criticize him for something. If this was some other popular, mainstream artist, people would be on their ass for one little mistake.
I'm at least glad people are waking up. You can't f*** with people who spent money to see you. Money you had no problem accepting, by the way.

Apr 17, 2023·1 replyprovideri lowkey think this opens up a bigger conversation about today's climate and all the extras that some artists feel they have to do in addition to just releasing the music. like there has to be a whole new and exciting package to go along with it. the nigga curated and manufactured whole limited edition magazines for his last release. i can imagine he's trying to figure a way to 1up himself not only musically but also just conceptually, especially being indie. interesting times we're living in
i dont think that artists have to do this extra s*** when releasing music. I think almost everybody enjoys him because of his music only. The magazine, the visual album is definitely a creative choice he decided to make because he wanted to. Personally, i feel like is a bad decision, because it shifts away the focus from interesting projects to the actual album, like Endless. If he released Endless and dropped Blonde months later, people would've recognized the greatness of that album, but instead all the attention got shifted to Blonde, that dropped few days later
