DonebeforeAlright so Iām guessing that Coachella agreed to all his requests with the understanding that he was making a film and capitulated, then something on the creative/film end wasnāt right, and Coachella was left out of the loop, and he cancelled a bunch of s*** at the last minute and at the expense of Coachella/attendees.

Why YesterdayFr building an ice rink in sunny california only to have it melt so you make the skaters walk around stage as if they were on skates sounds like a Gob plot in Arrested Development
I guess the ice rink held up fine but Frank wanted to get rid of it last minute so they had to melt it themselves

Oh, I did predict that it would be underwhelming because he is an award performer who probably didn't want to playing at Coachella in the first place. But if they shoot the concert, then it's just a film of the concert. Not a visual album.

The plan was to debut a live visual album with screenplay by Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, Dune, etc.) and thatās why they got the ice rink built in the Coachella grounds and had the LSU Hockey team rehearsing for months for this. The A24 crew was also in Coachella to shoot the movie and they were just left hanging. Same thing with the Coachella team who was advertising his livestream only for him to pull the plug last morningā
