yeah if all turns out right, i'd anticipate some new material between now and then. the interesting thing will be seeing what format it comes in. i just always remember that interview he did about following up Blonde and how he was considering alternative options to just the traditional "album." we already saw the string of singles he did post-Blonde which didn't seem as methodical as we're used to him being. maybe he'll take a more freewheeling approach.
in due time
great insight, ty for sharing. I hope he takes that sort of approach too, we will see!
Provider & that pack of singles in 2017 were beautiful man. Absolutely beautiful
Yeah I’ve only heard Blonde in full less than 5 times since the year it came out. Too much tied into that s***.
Less than 5 times....?

In full? Yeah. I’ll listen to a song here and there but it’s too emotionally draining

I can run through it back to back and have run it back to make many times

A.R. Kane stamp of approval
to be clear I don't think anyone would call this an entirely dreampop record but the influence from the genre is there for sure, especially in Ivy more than any other song
i think an underrated greatness of blonde is that years later no one can actually come to a concrete consensus of what genre it falls under, ambient pop, avant-pop, shoegaze like it’s such a mysterious record in that sense.
Ivy is listed under “avant-pop” on wiki and I don’t think I’ve ever seen another song with that label.

Put it in my art/alt pop playlist
Frank: I was pretty bashful on camera back then. Even now, cameras can make me freeze up a little depending on my state of mind, or they can make it harder for me to spool up anything coherent in my brain. But I’m pretty clear-headed and not very shy at all in my day-to-day interactions.
we noticed that frank lol
gorillaz could never get kanye or Beyoncé on bg vocals, let alone a full feat. Close though
Kinda unrelated, both of them had great collab songs with converse

Thinking about this a day later
Pharrell is my answer

that’d be amazing, would love a blonde scale solo album from Pharrell. But he can do so much himself, you think he’d ever stack features like that?

Channel Orange > Blonde honestly. Blonde is a classic record but so sad, it makes me feel like I am alone crying in a art museum hall. That White Ferrari - Godspeed run is hard to get through
CO too smooth
CO too smooth
It’s such an easy listen, the whole album ends so quick cause it’s that smooth lol
I still never got my homer magazine

it looks like it's for press, but what's the point actually? photos are usually sent to press by his team (and this photo was already sent to everyone), no need to do this on a website that's supposed to be updated only for events. in the middle of nowhere, just for the sake of it
