for a normie whats a good perfume everyday nice with a unique scent

some budget friendly recommendations outside of the oversaturated designer perfumes that are way too hyped out atm imo would be:
Dior Homme Intense - if you would like something cozy/comforting, women WILL love it.
Chanel Bleu De Chanel (either eau de toilette or eau de parfum) - a little bit pricier compared to other designer perfumes and more widespread/known but it is an amazing warm weather scent that performs well and even though its not a "unique" scent you and others will love the way you smell.
If you would like something more niche and for it to perform well in the summer i'd recommend you try Bal d'Afrique by Byredo, very beautiful citrusy-musky-floral scent that is truly unforgettable. Safe to wear both during the summer and winter. Only cons for this perfume and most Byredo perfumes are that it doesn't last too long compared to different perfumes but it will keep lingering on you for a night out on your clothes, a little more intimate but it's not necessarily a bad thing. Very pleasant, but a bit pricier compared to some general designer perfumes.

best bet will be to order some samples online or if you live in a city where there's options on checking out perfumes go out, try em out, ask for samples and try wearing them and see how they perform and smell on you after they start drying out, dont rush to blind buy a bottle, there's tons of options and they aint goin nowhere

also always apply on clothing, performs way better and longer than on skin

really hard to say, for people in new york any le labo scent wouldnt be "unique" cause its the brand is oversaturated there, in Europe its popular but throughout the 4-5 years ive been into perfumes i only met 1 person that wore Le Labo
Generally speaking any niche perfume would be "unique" and very low almost 0% chance you would run into someone wearing something from the same brand/perfumer compared to designer frags, which are easily available. Then there's the arab perfume scene which is also something worth mentioning. But i wouldn't go into that as a "new guy".
You will be good even with easily available designer perfumes, still its not like everyone is dropping over 100$ on scents.
For the start id just stay away from anything Viktor Rolfe, Dior Sauvage or MFK Baccarat Rouge. People ITT love BR540, it's a beautiful perfume, but it's so oversaturated, where i live every other woman is wearing it or a clone of it.

@aaron_xx_ Sorry for the way too complicated answers. Brands i'd recommend you to check out would definitely be: Diptyque, Kerosene, Andy Tauer, Byredo, Le labo - all of these are niche brands that have really good perfumes that im sure are easily available anywhere in the world. Also Nasomatto is an amazing brand, but they make perfume extracts (less alcohol content) and only in 30ml bottles which go for around 150$. Orto Parisi also make amazing perfumes, but they're not really something you would wear more on a daily basis(along with nasomatto).

i feel like fragrances with huge ad campaigns are usually overcompensating but their stuff does look good

Would also check out JPG Le Male, Versace Eros, Versace Dylan Blue and ADG Profumo/Parfum

tbh check out a discovery set from essential parfums, incredible value across the board

i fw this one a lot but projection(?) is kinda weak but it could be because the discovery set vials don’t have sprays on them so i had to dab it on me which usually results in a weaker scent/projection at least from personal experience

kinda want a big bottle but not if it’s this weak even w a spray

will prolly use the entire sample throughout the summer tho

idk which city you live in but if there’s a DSM or another store that carries them near you spray a tester on yourself
