very disappointed with Dior Oud Ispahan. Smells... cheap? Generic? not a huge fan. I did really like Oud Rosewood, though, and might have to get some more of it.

a lot of them have citrus at the top so hard to help there—it’s likely not vert, rose or rouge though

I’m going through the big le Labo discovery set and using a sharpie to give small details on the scent I’ll probably try something similar with the taffin set.

Tried the Le Labo Labdanum 18. This is a decent scent. Feels like a childish version of Noir 29. Like the powdery smell is there but it’s more plain while also being bright. Sort of like starting with powdery and finishing with a slight caramel vibe.

Could see this working with more intimate settings like a date night or church.

Yeah smells similar to elysium
Citrus mix (mostly grapefruit) mixed with vetiver. The citrus in this stays all day while Elysium becomes mostly vetiver after 20mins. Insane performance wise
