It's a terrible medium anyways for fragrance.

Scent is incredibly subjective and cannot really be articulated through words or video. That's why the industry sells samples in the first place.

It's also exclusively consumerist in nature and has no real social value unlike something as equally subjective as taste and food. Food channels and related content can be fun to watch because we can relate to or desire the surrounding circumstances. No one really cared about Anthony Bourdain's stuff because the food looked nice.

There are no equivalents in regards to fragrance.

You will never be able to review a fragrance the way you would an album, book, film, or even a restaurant

I do think threads like these are nice. Just casually enjoying fragrances together. Gives some social worth to what I feel is an otherwise bitter market.

I would also like to read blogs of people making fragrances though. It's a craft after all and creative processes can always be interesting even if you can't enjoy the end result.

i feel compelled to write a review on this because it’s not really what people in this thread really wear much but i love it.
i’ve been wearing blue musk from the body shop. it’s dirt cheap and smells like skin but better. like super clean, powdery, natural-ish, like a nice hug. skin but better type s***. imagine like a light skin girl from the south who went to college at a cali state school and is now working at a marketing firm, some media company, or like retail. her hobbies include nature, sun, viben, visiting her grandma, viben. shorts and a crewneck type s***. idk why this is so specific but i also can’t stop sniffing myself. i don’t love it in the way i love grand soir which is a big scent. i love it in the way i love taking a warm shower at night in the winter then chillin in my bed with some chamomile tea or like how nav is a top tier mid rapper in like the best way possible. it’s just so comfy i can wear it all the time and it’s unremarkable in the best way possible
