I didn't expect it to be so aromatic and earthy/woody. I think it's interesting and complex, and falls in the type of scent I could easily see working year round. There's a lot going on with it, all the earth and wood notes are really well blended. Almost smells like they took the aromatic green elements from a CdG perfume and combined them with the sensual clubbing type musk commonly found in parfums de marly perfume. really enjoying it

i'm counting down the days until i can start wearing my fall/winter perfume again

my main winter rotation:
tabac rose
side effect
starlight
and satin oud for formals

Winter frags so much better. Might be the first time I'm looking forward to winter

fr, spring/summer scents can be nice but they pale in comparison to fall/winter scents. i love stuff like eau rose, terre d'hermes, etc. but they aren't touching fall/winter stuff plus stuff just smells better when it's cold out

if you like rose frags, you ever tried L'Homme A La Rose? Its f***ing beautiful in the cold

yeah i have, its not one of my fav rose scents tbh. it's alright but it's a little too crisp/air-y for me. the thing i like about eau rose (the edp version) is the intensity of the rose and the litchi/musk notes.most other rose scents i wear are really dense like tabac rose or moschino tb

havent tried eau rose. Actually think L'homme a la rose is the only rose frag i've tried

I got a sample of MFK Oud Satin Mood… Disgusting.

It’s so powdery and sickly sweet man, I liked it when I smelled it at Saks last week but on skin it’s just a lot. I’m hoping that I can get used to it, but It’s just a sample so if I don’t it’s not a huge loss.
