Had two, gave one to my boy. I kept the one that was stronger in pineapple, but now feel myself deviating to more of the vanilla/birch heavy batches

i feel u lol. ive had my fair share of aventus addiction when I first got into niche. idk about birch but the 2019's apparently all have a vanilla heavy base, so i'd get one of those and call it a day. dont get too caught up in the batches, its a never ending cycle as you will keep looking for that ''perfect batch'' for ever lol. there are plenty of fragrances that are as good, if not better.

What else can be said that hasn’t been said before about this legendary fragrance.

I got a bottle of Bleu de Chanel EDP for Christmas 2018, and I thought it was cool.

Fast forward to October/November of last year (2019) and I decided to look for a new fragrance. So I ended up going to the mall and testing dozens of fragrances including Tom Fords Private Blend.

I ended up testing 30-40 fragrances over the following weeks, but nothing really stuck out to me the way I wanted. I didn’t want to smell like everyone else (Almost no one wears fragrances in my area, and no one even knows what Aventus is).

After a little research, I ordered some Aventus samples and yeah, now I’m hooked. Ended up getting 4 bottles in about a month

Now we back down to 3 bottles of Aventus, and I’ve diversified my fragrance collection... but I think this might always be my favorite.

SOTD Emperor EDP. Been a while

Sn: Might sell dior homme parfum now that its 100% that it will not be discontinued. Amazing fragrance, but I never reach for it cause its too strong. Did 2 sprays once to work and had to wipe some off lmao

Just got a sample of Le Labo's The Noir 29 and it's fire, any others similar that aren't as pricy?

I tried Emperor Extrait, Emperor EDP, Emperor Maximus EDP, and Vanilla Intense...

None come close to Aventus’s quality or scent

I’m just saying

I haven’t had Aventus for that long, or smelled that many batches... so I’m no expert.

Yet with Parfums Vintage clones, it doesn’t have that magic scent that makes you want to stick it up your nose

If an amateur like me can tell the difference so easily, I feel like it’s not even worth it with Aventus decants being cheaper than their Emperor line.
