Did you try Ambre Nuit and Encens Mythique? i would recommend Encens Mythique especially, its rose and soapy ambregris, what you get for the price is incredible quality, lasts 10+ hours

people def just hate it because its accessible and widely popular. it smells fine albeit a little generic. the elitism people on social media have towards others who wear fragrances w/o having fragrances as a full on hobby is weird. it'd be like getting angry people wear t-shirts casually rather than full tuxedos.

oh yeah i know. i just meant that its also because of that in mind that it seems kinda weird for people to s*** on fragrances just because they have a lot of casual wearers. Le Male basically the top of the pack in terms of generic overworn fragrances a few decades ago but it's still tremendously popular and it doesn't get s*** the same way. I get wanting to be unique and stand out but the whole popularity making something inherently less worthy is a weird mentality.

Never enjoyed it personally, feel like Prada Luna Rossa Carbon is a better version of Sauvage

I like Ambre Nuit a lot but probably more in candle form. Portrait isnt for me tbh and I went through the Les Absolus d'Orient collection once quickly and nothing really stood out. Remember them being quite sharp, but I’ll give it another try soon. I dont think that I really like incense in perfume

actually Encens Mythique doesnt have any incense besides in its name, its a totally different thing when you try it, it reminds me of a 10x more quality ambre nuit, its a soapy aldehydic rose basically

Imo BDC is classier, smells better and can be used for pretty much any situation you'd use Sauvage in. But Sauvage performance is way better
