everybody’s nose, skin chemistry, and personality is different. not everyone can wear every scent. for example i love tom for black orchid but i would never recommend someone to blind buy it it’s a loud fragrance and wouldn’t work on everyone

i got in on a business visa last year so i was super lucky because i was in tokyo when there were genuinely 0 tourists since no one was allowed in. feel like im never gonna be able to replicate my experience if i go back. tokyo's massive though, keep this in mind when you go, s***'s like the size of the entire state of rhode island if not bigger felt like each neighborhood (Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc.) was the entire size of Manhattan each

So hyped. I wanna go for 2 weeks. Shop, check out the scenes, anime s***, good food, try and karaoke with some baddies and hopefully Ghibli Land. Going with a low amount of tourists sounds awesome though

yeah, 2-2.5 weeks is probably enough tenuously but it kinda depends.its so dense and there's so much there that it can seem overwhelming when you're there to get enough done or see everything. when i was there i was walking like 10-12+ miles a day on top of taking the subway everywhere for about 3 weeks and it still didn't feel like I saw absolutely everything. There's just like so much to do there, every neighborhood has its own stuff. And then there's the fact being in some places during the day is completely different than at night (for ex. Ueno, Shinjuku). I can go back every year for work so I'm kinda lucky in that regard but I can imagine how crazy it'd be otherwise to fit in everything. One other thing which rocks is that because of USD/yen conversions + the duty free program, things in Japan are super cheap vs their western equivalent. Esp. designer clothing and s***. Like legit 40%+ cheaper base price in some scenarios. I spent a ton @ the DSM in Ginza.
