I keep seeing winter/ summer fragrances
Is there really an impact in performance or it’s like a preference thing

People prefer refreshing fragrances in warmer weather. Fall/winter frags can get too heavy / cloying in high heat. Think of sweet/dense/warm notes like vanilla, amber, tonka, tobacco, spicy notes. Those work better in the colder weather and can get annoying in heat. I do love my fall/winter fragrances in spring / summer evenings though. Just not when the sun is out. Theres some fragrances like Naxos and Ani that also have fresher elements like lavender & citrus next to their sweeter notes, which make it appropiate for every season though. At the end of the day you can wear anything whenever you want, its just a preference thing

Yeah they burn Oud (like incense) in Islamic holy places like Mosques. It was one of the Prophet’s favourite scents. When it’s in woodchip form for burning, it’s called “Bukhoor”.
