Threw me off too but his explanation makes sense

He does use candles and scented shower gels though
What a real one, Le Male >>>
A few days late but I've been OT:
Grain de Poudre - Has the most unique leather I have ever smelled. Its light but has a juicy pear like quality to it. Green. It's extremely inoffensive but not to the point where it has no identity. The projection is medium but longevity is 12+hrs. The dry down is my favorite part of this fragrance - musky floral slightly fruity but not cloying.
Capeline - Powdery, sophisticated, statement making. It just smells opulent. It's not warm nor cozy - Kinda feels like being in the principals office if that makes any sense. Feminine leaning however a man with presence can definitely pull this off. The Neroli is front and center with the bergamot helping push this fragrance off the skin. Great projection - 2 sprays max...it's going to last all day. This is just a cold b**** in a bottle.
Damn those are 2 ive never bothered trying when I was sampling the ysl collection. Will do next time

Idk much about perfumers but would it be fair to put Francis, Alberto and Jacques as a Kendrick, Cole, Drake-esque "Big 3"?
most i do is like 6 sprays
Same lol
Around 3-6 depending on the frag
H24 really growing on me
It’s dope. I miss it sometimes.
But then I spray something else and remember why I sold it
This is amazing:
Truly feel like I’m dreaming. I am currently in the process of having one of my favorite @maisonfranciskurkdjian fragrance customized by @franciskurkdjian_private himself!
Over the summer my boyfriend and I met with Francis and shared with him what our perfect MFK Oud Mood fragrance would smell like. Francis was so kind, humble, and gracious with his time. It was a surreal experience.
Like many in the fragrance community, I am a huge fan of Francis’ bold yet elegant approach to fragrance creation and cannot wait to smell his future creations for @dior!
This week we received 5 different interpretations of our our custom Oud Mood vision. They are absolutely stellar. We’re having so much fun smelling them all, trying them on skin, and deciding which one will ultimately be ours!

Still mindblowing that this man took over at Dior and we're going to have full high end collections & designer releases from him in the future next to his own brand
