Both emperor edp and extrait are modeled after Aventus' 2016 batches, when it was stronger. edp's tend to project more in the first few hours, while extrait contrentations lasts longer. that's also the case with emperor. scent wise its minimal difference, but ive seen people say that the extrait smells a little darker and richter because it contains more perfume oil. you cant really go wrong with either

I got really into trying to find a winter scent this year and I got a bottle of la yuqawam pour homme and I'm really into the tobacco and raspberry thing going on for the cold weather.
Armaf CDNIM is also really nice with the smokiness. If varvatos vintage had more longevity and sillage it'd be dumb reach for me. Right now I'm going back and fourth between CDNIM and la yuqawam depending on how I'm feeling

not per se, cause they are based on the same fragrance, but i still like to own both since they have their differences. i use emperor in fall & winter and pvi in spring & summer
