Both private collections are amazing. Chanel has their own distinctive smell. Everything ultra refined. To me the best are Coromandel, Sycomore, 1975, Le Lion, Cuir de Russie and Boy.

Guerlain leans a little bit more into warm and gourmand territory. Bois d' Armenie, Rose Barbare, Cuir Beluga, Spiritueuse Double Vanilla, Iris Ganache and Gourmand Coquin are masterpieces.

SOTD Goldfield & Banks Silky Woody. Really pleasant vanilla scent with woods, spices and suede. Quite different from what Im used to when it comes to vanilla. Smells great, especially the sillage

What do you think about Kilian fragrances? are they worth it? i really want some boozy fragrances, and im a sucker for gourmands

sampled margiela jazz club and it lived on my wrist for the day, by the 3 hour mark it just smelt very sweet and seemed to only get sweeter as the day went on, :/

Love Eros, but it has more of a clubbing/night out vibe to me. I think Le Male is similar but more suited to everyday use

I LOVE this brand. Everything they do is great; the fragrances, the home scents and (specially) the candles. Figue Noir and Black Champaca are out of this world.

My next purchase from them will be Spirituelle, a fresh mint fragrance with a lot of blackcurrant and musk. Tart, cool, juicy and green.
