I’m basic lmao all I cop is Acqua Di Gio. It’s jus a timeless classic for me and no matter how many fragrances I’ve tried, I still to this day never found anything that I like more than ADG.

I don’t like strong, musky colognes, so ADG jus has that perfect sweet/fruity hint to it without becoming a feminine scent. S*** is amazing.

Realized that as much as I f*** with pvi and emperor they dont touch the magic of aventus when it comes to the scent and quality

Creed has its own private ingredient distributor thats probably under contract exclusivity.

That’s why no clone will ever smell 100% like Aventus.

Yup this goes for most fragrances. Companies like IFF, Givaudan, Robertet, Firmenich who produce aroma chemicals and natural fragrance oils all have captive ingredients that perfumers outside cant use. Clone brands just look for the closest possible ingredients, thats why they will never be 100% same as the fragrance they clone

You need to be at least a multi-millionaire to go to war with some of these brands & poach ingredient providers (but they’ll scalp you).

you told me to start off with the zara vibrant leather,but my gf did not approve of that one
so she got me the Zara Rich/Warm/Addictive and Intense/Dark/Exclusive

They smell insane,i dont know s*** about perfumes but the rich/warm/addictive smells like a cigar and it holds pretty well,i get a lot of compliments.
The other one is great too,i get a lot of compliments with that one too,but i prefer this one

also got this pepe jeans london perfume as a gift,at first it smelled kinda basic imo but when it sits it has a really familiar but unique smell if that makes sense

Zara Rich/Warm/Addictive is really nice, def one of the best Zara ones
Havent tried the other 2. Glad u found some frags u love fam + compliments on your scent is always nice

Gonna go down in the store tommorow to find something light for the summer,been eyeing that Versace Dreamer,read some nice reviews wanna check that out

I'm a Dior Sauvage owner (bought it like 4 years ago) and I +1 that statement bc I had to stop using it bc you can't go a day in the city without smelling someone's Sauvage on a subway

I literally had a conversation with my friends where we were in a group of 5 guys and I said I own Sauvage and all of them said they have it too

Great smelling fragrance but it's generic af now

I was here mad frequently exactly a year ago and I copped Prada l'Homme (love it, but performance is not that good I rarely get compliments bc you can't really smell it after 2h - bet when a girl smells it I get mad compliments)

But here comes the battle for this years spring/summer:

Last year the Fico Di Amalfi train was BIG here and I even ended up buying a tester

At first I thought It smells nice but more like a good quality shower gel than a proper fragrance

but this year I decided to give it a go and busted almost the whole tester one night and damn it smelled amazing

Fresh and tasty

But it does smell... "cheap" in a way that it doesn't smell like a real fragrance and more like a Vicotrias Secret mist or stthn... It's smells suuuper good but doesn't give that professional vibe

But still I'm gonna see how much I like D&G Light Blue Intense and if it doesn't blow me away I'm going with Acqua Di Parma
