I think I might be a f***ing s*** for DENSE gourmand or leather/tobacco based frags fragrances.

When I see notes like rum, tobacco, vanilla, leather, cardamom, oud, etc. it turns me the F*** on.

Any fans of MFK Grand Soir in this thread? Years ago I gave up trying to find a fragrance like Jean Paul Gaultier 2- which I fell in love with when it launched in 2005 but I wasn't going to pay stupid prices for it from 3rd party sellers once it became discontinued.

Then a few weeks ago I smelt Grand Soir in person after reading about it online and it brought me back immediately to the moment I found JPG2. It's crazy how Francis's nose and abilities have developed over the years

Have yet to try grand soir.

Definitely gonna need to cop another MFK sample pack, my 1st and only one was TOO focused on the 540s.

Def gonna get Grand Soir, and their new Rose fragrance.

You ever tried Versace Eros? It reminds me of the Polo range of fragrances. It smells really good and lasts a decent amount of time on the skin

Grand Soir really is mesmerising. After all the hype of 540 I smelt it for the first time in store as well and although its a complex beautifully balanced fragrance, I wasn't drawn to it. Should've tried their rose fragrance.

If you like rose- check out Le Labo Rose 31. I was staying at a hotel a few years back and all the amenities were this- soap bars, shower gel, lotion and mini perfume bottle- it's the first rose perfume I've ever liked and it really blew me away
