So I did a sample swap with someone and I initially asked for nishane fan your flames but after reading the note breakdown and noticing the coconut note I asked for Roja Elysium instead cause Im running low on my decant and I dont like coconut in fragrances. Just received the package and the sample he sent was fan your flames still.. and damn Im glad I received this. The coconut note in fragrances Ive smelled prior to this felt out of place and were kinda sticking out but man the coconut in this is sooo creamy and blended so well with the rum, tobacco and dry woods. It has the perfect amount of slight sweetness running through it and isnt cloying at all. Up there with some of the best fragrances Ive tried yet and will be getting a bigger decant for the fall

One thing I fear when looking at boozy/coconut frags is that it’ll turn out too tropical.
