Once the nostalgia goggles are removed, it's really clear that Chapter 2 was peak Fortnite, not C1The map was superior with the new movements like swimming and it was just more diverse with a bunch of great POIs, they switched the engine and came in with new character models so the battle passes were amazing each season, etc
Especially the first 5 or 6 seasons culminating with the Marvel season, which is one of the, if not the best, season ever IMO, and Im not a comic book fan, but that was just executed perfectly with the abilities, map changes, POIs (Stark industries was GOAT)
Almost all of my homies stopped playing, including myself, we maybe hop on once in a few months, but I miss those days so much man
Idk I hesitate to say C2 > C1. C2 was fye but C1 was the OG s***. We ain't even call it C1 back then, that s*** was just Fortnite

I didn't care for the game in chapter 1.
Chapter 2 I was hooked
Chapter 3 was me trying to like it and getting burnt out.
I liked the collabs. That was about it.
Liking the map and BP so far. We'll see
If it's like last chapter I don't see myself playing much after this season.

Chapter 2 season 2 really felt like the peak. That was before collabs were like everyday. Deadpool was a big deal.
Now we have f***ing Luke Skywalker and Lebron James. It's wild.
Still having a lot of fun with this season though, last season felt washed
