This sport is cooked
im afraid it may have peaked in 2021 at least for a while
satan was slain and we're just in ng+ until something happens
Just watched the vod, probably the most boring Suzuka GP in a long time
My new GOAT Antonelli killed it, almost overtook Russell. Merc going to silently get 2nd in WCC if they keep this up
Verstappen killed it as usual, even with that cobbled up mess he's driving
Hamilton had the pace of a bus by the end there, no clue what was happening. Maybe saving on engine wear?
Ferrari gang we are in agony
Leclerc did the best he could with P4 imo. There's no way he's going to catch up with McLaren's car + Verstappen's skill.
Hamilton-- no clue what happened at the end there.

He got it down to .6 on Kimi, then 3 laps later was 2 seconds back
Legit so confusing, I really thought we’d have a Hamilton renaissance, especially after the sprint pole and victory last weekend.

I don't think he's going to win another WDC again unfortunately. We'll see some GP wins, but Ferrari is where champions go to retire.
I'd love to be proven wrong, but changing race engineers, strategists, cars, and teams this late into this career-- it's going to take a lot out of him to compete against the likes of Verstappen, Norris/Piastri, and Russell, let alone Leclerc.
I think this time around he knew he wasn't going to catch up to Antonelli and decided to not wear out the car trying. There were very little overtakes this time around in Suzuka. It doesn't help that Ferrari is working against their drivers half the time.
