There is no such thing as “punching down.” It is a fake comedic concept. You can make fun of anyone as long as it’s funny. South Park had episodes making fun of cripples. An entire character’s whole thing was that he was crippled

And how exactly would you enforce those rules? Don’t make fun of people who are “marginalized”? Relative to who? Americans are better off that residents of tons of countries. So are Americans fair game? Can you make fun of trans men since they have male privilege? Can you make fun of black women? On the one hand, they face sexism and racism. On the other hand, they have better outcomes than black men in every measurable category (life expectancy, income, education, incarceration, being murdered by police)

Can you make fun of Asians and Indians? They are minorities but do better than whites in income, education, life expectancy, etc.

Also isn’t it pretty paternalistic to believe a group is so weak that they literally cannot be joked about?

Who will be the joke police? The left somehow managed to become the right wingers of the 90’s who wanted to ban everything lol

A 16 year old male is not getting raped by a 24 year old woman that isn't a guardian or someone he trusts.

A man can groom a woman into being raped. I just don't think the inverse can happen.
