Forbes is proving unprofessional with their agenda of discrediting a true self-made, and the richest, African-American billionaire.

Instead they’re positioning another black billionaire, who THEY KNOW, will eventually get found out for fraud (allowing them to, again, discredit an entire race using one article).

    F*** Forbes forever.

“ based on the magical thinking around sales that don’t exist yet”

Very funny that the writer just described a valuation

    YANDHI

Wait soooo shouldn’t they have updated it to $1.8B or so to avoid all of this? They literally listed increases and wouldn’t have done it had Ye not done the news yesterday

They’re so funny man I love this

i think Forbes is offended they werent the first to break the news of his new networth being '1.8 billion - according to them'

How.. does this writer.. still have a job if they don’t understand simple financial processes?

If the fair value of Ye’s assets have been acquired, it’s on paper. What is this dumb puppet clown b**** of a writer going on about?

S*** don’t really matter like that when you a billionaire tho it’s just funny to see the lengths a publication will go to for something like this.

Every time he has to go to Bloomberg and then they write a diss piece as they are forced to increase it anyways. Ye definitely tries to go to Forbes first too and they deny making a piece at all

In actuality, it’s nothing personal. The Bloomberg story cites a UBS report on his businesses—the same document Forbes saw earlier this month

Bruh why didn’t you update then if you saw weeks ago

Also, I hate comparing the two, but will since it’s been a big conversation point recently. Jay and Kanye are both billionaires, awesome. Jay is close to Ye in value, cool. I just feel like it’s two different levels though. I find so much more respect for Kanye and cheer on his success because he’s in industries that will truly transform a lot of things in our everyday lives and the more he makes, the more he can create on a grandiose level. Housing, tech, clothing, etc. on the other hand, Jay is rich off stuff like cigar deals and champagne deals. He has Tidal, but I doubt he actually is very involved.
