O yea I definitely understand the high expectations. Flylo is a GOAT imo

But this track got me feeling like

austin , his mom passing and grieving

same way thundercat DRUNK his opus

Flamagra had some dope tracks but it felt more like a compilation of throwaways from different eras rather than something cohesive

Same lmao this s*** hits hard

I pray this isnt on the upcoming album but I also have no idea what he has said about the sound or theme of upcoming album

Fire is coming was also the lead teaser for Flamagra so maybe he's still on a David Lynch kick

If he is I may just entirely lower my expectations

We have nothing except that it's more ambient and features Miguel Atwood Ferguson heavy who was featured all over Cosmogramma and Flamagra

Yeah based on this single it seems like it will be more in tune with Flamagra but idk

With that being said this was the best release week for me since the beef lmao

Flylo Tinashe Yachty and Halsey all dropped heat

You’re Dead is a very very very impressive album

But those other 2 albums are so special to me.
I can just lay back and get lost in UTQC, I love that it’s an album about dreaming

You’re dead was the final flylo album in my book

LA was outstanding too so I’d say he had a crazy 4 album run

He's 10 years removed from You're Dead at this point

That run from LA to You're Dead was unstoppable though

OMG I THOUGHT I WAS BEING HARSH after listening to snipppet and this song but yeah to be honest

But like cherrywine just said he is just a different artist entirely at this point
