need JB single again bro
Might need him to be sad for my enjoyment indeed
woww what are songs like la lune on here ??
our vacuum is the most like it. Esp the second half
Wednesday overcast has me crying like a baby
Low-key jai Paul could remix that
The drums and the strumming pattern gimme the vibes
Might need him to be sad for my enjoyment indeed
matter of fact why the heck haven't they collaborated yet
it's honestly a taste thing I think and not a judgment of his abilities but The OOZ has continued to blow everything else in his discography out of the water for me after an initial listen of this.
he's almost like the indie rock equivalent of RZA with OOZ being his 93-95 basement era.
once again though, that is like a legitimate Album of the Life contender for me so it's going to be hard for me to appreciate anything the man drops in the shadow of that

Same, feel he’s gotten better with each album
Ooz is one of my favourite Krule projects. Still think Man Alive is his best work, but SH is definitely gonna continue to get spins as I grow into it. That middle of the tracklist run is insane stuff
tortoise of independency - empty stomach - flimsy is one of his best track runs ever. if it was combined into one track it would be top 5 in the discog

yeah i think The Ooz being so good is one of the reasons i'm not really enjoying this new album, just like i didn't really care about Man Alive
Space Heavy sounds so predictable
Along with Cupid Deluxe by Blood Orange and CO by Frank, 6 Feet Beneath The Moon by Krule was one of the albums that summed up my highschool years.
This is giving me the same vibe as the former. Lush licks and dreamy chords neatly wrapped by Archy’s magnetic writing. This is making me so happy..
man
i used to be such a stan back in the day. maybe it’s a difference in taste, but every thing post-Ooz feels like a drawn out expansion pack. one of the most boring albums in recent memory. ik he uses other monikers to explore other genres, but i wish he’d switch it up. sad!
