I never said she wasn’t a notorious innovator, I’m a huge fan of her especially because of that, I’m just basically saying that the elements of techno she infused on the single are very generic.

Just FYI there are many many pop artists who meld techno in their work in Europe so maybe my European point of view explains why I perceive the single differently

Christmas is generally a period where no one wants to release an album, and keeps on getting moved up earlier each year. Nobody is going to be releasing in November/December anyways

Yeah apart from him, I don't think many artists will be releasing albums during November/December. That period is dominated by Christmas music and that's what almost everybody will be listening to exclusively

I also think for me, the Magdalene rollout was super long so I'm not surprised. There will probably be another two singles out this year
