if it's occured over a longer period of time then how can you sue?
this might be two years ago but it still sits uneasy with me.
im sure it wasn't a great relationship but damn. why not sue him a year ago or as soon as they break up?
instability caused by emotional and mental stress probably? Maybe it just takes time to get yourself together to even do something like this and realize you deserve justice

When you think about it, if you’ve ever been in a relationship it usually takes about a year after it’s over for you to be able to even start rationally thinking about how it went
Now imagine this one that was extremely f***ed up on all levels, I’d say 2 years is a normal amount of time to decide you need justice

Probably only recently felt comfortable doing so, who knows how much that effected her during & after. Wish her all the healing possible... nobody deserves this

Not even joking. I think abuse victims will probably skip the gynecologist out of shame, because they would see that something isn't right prolly, which leads to something so serious being detected later. Plus the psychological effects take a serious toll on your body which makes it more susceptible too
Obviously not saying it's as simple as that but realistically it was probably a factor
