Possibly but a lot of those posters are serious too. They act like there's a war between black and white artists out here.

I got attacked on here when I noticed Bowie and Zappa/Beefheart influence on certain parts off Black Messiah, some posters were like "nah that's some c***shit, he's influenced by Sly & the Family Stone".. while D'Angelo himself cited those artists as influences.

Fiona has a lot of Jazz and Soul elements in her music. I don't know if D'Angelo is a Fiona fan but he would be if he heard her music. He was obsessed with Amy Winehouse. No one of those genius artists actually goes "this is made by a white person, I don't like it". Great music is great music regardless.

Cosmonauts, Shameika & I Want You To Love Me probably my favourites so far. Been a while since pretty much every song on an album was executed this well.

The keys and vocal runs on the intro are beautiful.
