Walking through the train station with Aerith and i had to run take a s***. I must've stopped next to an NPC cause all ive heard for the past 5 minutes is this on a loop:
"The Sector 5 Undercity specialty meatballs!"
"Try em with our sweet and spicy sauce!"
"Made with homegrown spices!"
"How many would you like?!"
Literally about 30 times in a row. Wish you could kill npcs in this
Jesus Christ when did we stop using the spoiler filter lol?
I stop by the thread and the last 5 posts were like a punch to the stomach. Not good for a guy taking his sweet sweet time.
Gonna take a break from the thread for a while and return when I finish. Happy playing, guys.
Oh my goddddd all these forced walking moments with Aerith are KILLING me.
I hate times where you're forced walk cause for some reason they decided make Cloud slower than AOL dial-up internet for them, but the entire Aerith segment so far, from the church to her house, has had like 20 of them
Starting to get too cute with this awful Barrett segment. Wtf is this?? We were looking for wedge and all of a sudden there’s this random underground cave with a even more random boss battle
This isnt a true ff7 experience until i see some linkin park amvs. There really should be a way to unlock Meteora and play that on a jukebox.
I finally unlocked the threesome mini game
I WON

It Takes Three to Tango all over again
Bro that hell house boss fight was so annoying! lol loving the game tho
Yea not particularly hard but it's wack as f*** if you don't have every magic element slotted.
The whole sequence in the Wall Market to the Tournament to the Honeybee Inn to Don Corneo
Each of the boss fights have been fun af for me so far, but my favorite is Rude only cause that’s my nigga
and is there really only one elemental materia in the whole game....?
Idk if you found the answer yet, but:
"You put it on a character you are not controlling and link it to fire/wind/ice/electric.
Then whenever the character you are controlling casts an attack spell, the AI will cast the spell linked with Synergy if they have ATB available. It kinda drops off in usefulness pretty fast cause they only cast the first level (Fire, Blizzard, Aero, Thunder) no matter what level the linked materia is."

As a long time FF player, I know how long a lot of the boss fights can go on for in the classic turn-based games. But i wasn't expecting some boss fights in this to feel nearly just as long tbh (not a bad thing).
I think the KH/FFXV-style combat system being so on-the-fly, and all the characters constantly moving around, has tricked me into thinking most battles will wrap up quickly. And 99% of the mobs i fight do go by quickly, but most of the bosses and mini-bosses/unique mobs have taken a lot longer than i thought.
Which, again, is a good thing to me. Definitely doesn't make me feel too overpowered, while also not putting an emphasis on early game grinding in order to actually win boss fights. In most of them I always feel like i'm on the verge of wiping, and then i'll get a second wind or little ATB kick that allows me to regroup/deal the final blow.
Really creates a nice sense of victory being earned tbh...well so far at least (I just finished Ch. 8)
Really impressed by the battle system and its differences from kh3. I think its pretty perfect at melding the turn based and action rpg elements.
I love kh3 battle system (esp as it tackles the data battles) its supposed to feel more like candy with all the acrobatics and lunacy but this feels so good grounded.
There are some parts of it i have issues with though, i camt get this lock-on to feel intuitive like ever so i do have issues really targeting who i want to.
